We are a citizen-driven media platform that advocates for an open, transparent and accountable government in Poway. Our goal is to bring together a diverse representation of perspectives about the policies that shape life in the “City in the Country.” We strive to shed light on the issues that matter most through stories written by community members themselves.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

ABOUT HIRAM SOTO

Hiram Soto is a Poway business owner and advocate for government transparency and accountability. He has years of experience working to increase civic participation in San Diego County and California. He started his career as a reporter at the San Diego Union-Tribune covering immigration and Latino affairs. He has served in several leadership roles at nonprofits, marketing agencies and advocacy organizations. Soto is a board member of the Poway Historical Society. He was born in Mexico and lives in Poway, CA.
